I'm gonna have a great show for you today We're gonna talk about the new developments in the NFL, how it affects the Kansas City Chiefs

in what they're trying to do in 2020 and trying to get back to another Super Bowl.

And then we're going to take a look at where the linebacker group stands right now with some of the departures and what we're staring at here as we get closer and closer to what the NFL says is going to be the NFL draft in May.

Now, the NFL has decided that they're moving forward with the new

playoff system in 2020. They have tentative dates of course as long as that they can fit the

schedule in and get the season started on time, those will come to be.

And that's fine, I think that's still a bit of a pipe dream at the moment,

but we're going to see what happens.

I don't think you can expect anything until training camp and if training camp starts on time

the last weekend of July they may be able to still get this done.

But the long and the short of it is they have ratified that they are going to a seven team

playoff bracket per conference. So what the chiefs did last year in gaming

home field position is going to get a little bit harder in

2020.

There's only one team that will get a first round by.

That makes things definitely more difficult.

I think it's still got to be a focus for Kansas City, especially with teams moving around with

Philip Rivers now in Indianapolis.
