Summary

At an early age, my sister and I were sent away to boarding school. We hated it. It was soulless and cruel. While there I would sleep in the bunk bed above my sister’s, and hearing her sobbing at night was too much; so I would crawl into her bed and put my arms around her, to comfort her. I should warn you that reliving that experience in this week’s episode brought me to tears yet again. But although I didn’t know it at the time, I was beginning to learn about responsibility, and how you can never shirk it, unless you want to spend your life being unhappy. Learn how I accepted my own sense of responsibility and how you can too.

back to the podcast this week on a rose walking. I was like, uh, no, Kim. That's really not.

0:27.5

Really, it just wasn't resonating with what I want to say that because, you know, the kind of crux of

0:31.9

this podcast truly is, nobody cares to work harder, said with a big hug and a big lot of love. But anyway, welcome to this

0:40.0

week's episode of the podcast. What are we going to talk about today? We are going to talk about

0:45.2

the R word. Do you know what the R word is? The R word is responsibility. And you're like,

0:53.5

we're going to talk about responsibility. Yes, we are going to talk about responsibility. We're going to talk about it as it relates to responsibility. And you're like, we're going to talk about responsibility. Yes, we are going to talk

0:55.6

about responsibility. We're going to talk about it as it relates to resilience because I've had a

1:00.0

lot of questions this week from people asking me, just saying that Kim, seriously, how are you so

1:06.1

resilient? Like, how do you do what you do every day? And I guess what has inspired this podcast too

1:11.6

was I was recently a guest on Sheila Bella's podcast called The Pretty Rich podcast, and

1:18.6

she entitled the podcast Ripped and Rich. And during the podcast, it was quite funny because she was

1:24.4

asking me, she was like, seriously Kim, like, how is it that you are both ripped and rich? Because she said, most people have a lot of success in one area or the other, but very, very rarely do people have success in both. And I suppose I'd never really thought about it before in that way, but it really got me thinking, you know, how, how am I? Like,

1:46.4

you know, how do I devote two to three hours a day to training, but also run my company, but also

1:51.7

homeschool my kids and also launch a second company? Like, how is it that I have developed myself
