conflict, but we know China and Iran are major

trade partners in this war is putting a squeeze on Chinese energy purchases.

I don't think that Beijing is looking to force Tehran into painful concessions that might

cause the regime to fall or collapse and would lose some of the leverage that China currently

has in the region.
