Summary

How Much Money do Teachers Make a Year & How to Become Financially Whole

Hey CEO Teachers! Have you ever wondered, "how much money do teachers make an hour?" Or "how much money do teachers make a month?" Well, in today's episode, you're in for a real treat because we're going to flip those questions on their head! You're going to hear about how much money teachers make per year AND you're going to see — no matter what your salary is or where you're starting out — how you can find financial wholeness with it.

A Whole Lot More than "How Much Money do Teachers Make Per Year" with Financial Wholeness

Today, I'm interviewing one of my new favorite authors and, let's be real, one of my soon-to-be best friends — Tiffany "The Budgetnista" Aliche. Tiffany is America's favorite personal financial educator and the author of Get Good with Money. Through her Live Richer Movement, Tiffany has helped over one million women save, manage, and pay off millions of dollars. As a former teacher with ten years in the classroom and a Master's degree in Education, Tiffany was instrumental in getting The Budgetnista Law (A1414) passed in January 2019, making financial education mandatory for middle school students in New Jersey. Plus, while Tiffany has helped millions of women find financial freedom, she has also interrogated the question, "how much money do teachers make per year?" and she's going to show you how any teacher can move towards financial freedom through ten core components (which, of course, she'll share!). Give this episode a listen to get good with your money!

In this episode, you will learn:

  • Life as a teacher – real talk: how Tiffany slayed her finances and managed to create a SIGNIFICANT savings with a very modest, straight-out-of-college teacher's salary
  • The biggest difference between Financial Freedom and Financial Wholeness, and why the latter is much more important
  • Tiffany's Top 10 Ways to Achieve Financial Wholeness
  • Strategies and tried-and-true tips to finding, selecting, and working with a money team (such as a financial advisor or financial experts)
