Continuing our verse by verse study through Romans. We are dealing with the teaching of salvation through faith AND it's implications. Many people don't consider the implications.

Romans chapter 4. Here we are and the question is how much faith do I have to have to be saved.

There's a few different things going on in this passage but what we're going to kind of come around to is this concept

of how much faith does a person really need to be saved.

What sort of faith is saving faith?

Because that's what the passage in general is talking about is being saved by faith.

So here we are, Romans chapter 4 verse 12.

It says that speaking of Abraham,

he says, and the father of the Abraham, the father of the circumcision, to those who not only are of the circumcision,

but also who walk in the steps of the faith which our Father Abraham had

while still uncircumised.

For the promise that he would be heir of the world

was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law,

but through the righteousness of faith.

For of those who are of the law are errors, faith is made void, and the promise. faith.

Faith is made void and the promise made of no effect.
