How do you stress a mitochondria? I like to point out, you're alive and modern society,

0:04.1

you have stressed mitochondria, right? Whether it's smoking, fog, drinking, airplane, EMF radiation,

0:10.3

the radiation off of whatever devices you're in front of, stress from devices, relationships,

0:15.5

you're under stressed in modern society. And when you are, your mitochondria producing extra

0:20.5

energy and extra reactive oxygen species. And that you are, your mitochondria are producing extra energy and extra

0:22.0

reactive oxygen species. And that's when they run around if they're left to their own devices

0:26.6

and do that oxidative stress and oxidative damage. And that's where the ESS-60 molecule comes in.

0:32.2

Again, we know from peer-reviewed published research, it gets into the mitochondria. And so we believe

0:36.8

it's holding on to

0:37.7

those reactive oxygen species on the exterior of that soccer ball cage molecule so that they can't

0:43.4

run around and do damage. And then when your mitochondria replenishes the glutathione and replenishes

0:48.5

the melatonin, then it can manage those reactive oxygen species appropriately. And that's why we say this molecule is the boss, a buffering oxidative stress system.
