I think we have responsibility as stewards of that environment to ask ourselves profound questions

and starting with, you know, is it better to tear us something down or can we repurpose

this and does that have a greater value in doing that? And it's often more expensive to repurpose existing buildings than it is to, you know,

simply demolish it and build something shiny and new.

He's the founder and CEO of Beyond Zero DDC, where he pioneers zero carbon luxury eco resorts that unite cutting-edge

technology, craftsmanship, and environmental responsibility. Kevin's portfolio spans some of the world's

most ambitious projects, from the Rodin Museum and Seoul to Barclay's North American headquarters, Macy's Herald Space Restoration, and award-winning Bloomingdale stores.

His work has been honored with over 40 international design awards and as part of the Museum of Modern Arts Permanent Collection.

As founder of the Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies, Kevin also helps young architects reimagine how design can serve humanity.
