Hello I'm Bex and welcome to the Week Junior show. Today I'm joined by two of the team from the Week Junior, the magazine making sense of the world for 8 to 14 year olds.

We've got Deputy Editor Rahal and Associate Editor Laura.

Now in this episode we're going to be talking about how Minecraft became one of the world's

most popular games, a famous ice festival in China and some amazing new species.

We'll also be having a debate about whether private jets should be allowed.

But before all of that, I have noticed an interesting story in this week's magazine

about scientists who've been decoding the cluck of a chicken.

So I want to know if you could talk to any animal, what would it be and why?

I'll be honest, my first thought was a dog because I love dogs, I'd love to speak to dogs, I I think it'd be really fun I think they'd be really friendly but I did remember my

neighbor's got some pigs recently and their oinking was incredible it was a proper like

nk nk nk nk nk nk nk and then I started doing it back to them.

And I was like, am I in a conversation without realizing it?

Have we become friends?

I don't know.

Anyway, they do make more of a beeline for me since my oinking.

So maybe I can speak to pigs already and I don't realize I don't know.

Raul what animal would you like to speak to? I've found this one a little bit tricky I mean

out of all the animals what do you choose but as you as we all know at the moment is

absolutely freezing so my mind and thoughts took me to

tropical climbs and I thought some kind of tropical dolphins because they're fun and playful and

seem curious and the thought of swimming around in some warm

turquoise sea with some dolphins and having some fun sounded very very very

...
