Yeah, it's good to be in the studio. We're going to do a series conversationally on something that's pretty close to all of our hearts and particularly close because of the season that we've been walking through. If you've been in touch

our dear Craig McConnell stepped into glory and his full role in the kingdom back in August.

And this actually isn't going to be a podcast about that

that we may refer to it, but what. isn't going to be a podcast about that,

though we may refer to it,

but what going through all that together

has meant is a pretty heightened need for soul care.

Learning to being conscious of actually practices that help us nurture and restore and deepen heal, you know, kind of the

collective world of what what it looks like to care for your soul.

I was struck the other day by the passage in Hebrew

where it describes Jesus

as the shepherd and guardian of our souls.

And I just am aware that I think he's trying to do that

most of the time without my conscious cooperation.

He's trying to shepherd, he's trying to be the guardian of my soul, but I think I get in the way of that a lot. I think I want to be a more intentional

participant in what it looks like to shepherd and care for my soul and for my wife's soul, for our kids,

for our friends, the people we care about.
