Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that we could go get our own oil before the Secretary of War.

Pete Hexeth said this about our armed forces.

There are countries around the world who ought be prepared to step up on this critical waterway as well. It's not just the United States Navy.

Last time I checked, there was supposed to be a big bad Royal Navy. What a nice man. Earlier today,

the business secretary, Peter Kyle, was asked about those comments on Times Radio.

We know that we have an unconventional president there. We know that we have a president that

uses the bully pulpit of social media very, very effectively. And what we have with

Keir and the Prime Minister is steadfast. He takes a breath. He thinks very coolly and calmly,

and he acts always in the national interest. Well, so Kier-Starmat chose not to respond to this himself at a press conference earlier, but what he must have felt, which I'm sure a lot of people feel, is this sort of rising, bubbling rage about the whole situation, that the mess in the strait of almost is America's mess that America has created. Nobody asked them to, with the exception of Israel.

It's not our fault it's happening. And now they're saying, get your, get your Navy together and go and sort this out. Alice, it's, is, is, are you enraged? Well, it is. But also, we sound like, well, this kind of boring, predictable, dull, war answering on one level. And Trump's just running all over I mean, when that word weaponized unpredictability is exactly what is.

He's like a toddler.
