We just spent an hour with Nick Raphael. He's the president of London Records and what struck me the most was when he talked about signing Jay-Z in the mid-90s when no one else wanted to.

What did you think of him?

I thought it was a confirmation of something we've been seeing with a bunch of our guests,

which is that being inspired by work and feeling joyous and your work is pretty much the most surefire key to success.

Nick just radiated that.

You can see how much he loves the music industry, how much he loves music and being a part of it.

And that for me was very affirming.

Yeah, the other thing I noticed is this abundance mentality,

which is like a theme with our guests lately,

and it's if he doesn't sell the record,

he's happy that the record got sold

because he knows that there's so much out there.

It's enough for everyone, right?

Yeah, there's enough for everyone.

So I think people are really going to enjoy it.
