It's time for bigger conversations, broader conversations.

It's time to exit our social media silos, to step into no man's land and share a cigarette or a vape or a bowl of ayahuasca kombucha

and lift our eyes to the stars, lift your lips to my ears

and to whisper to each other conversations that are relevant, urgent, provocative,

and sometimes, yes, uncomfortable.

I mean, this is, this is sounds fantastic, but wait a lot of the actual conversation.

But I say that, I said that just by way of small apology in the sense that this is a conversation

that I didn't want to delay.

Peter McCormack hit me up, feeling like there was a dearth of voices who were in the

independent alternative mediaverse, but who were also not deranged by crazy. He's one of them.

I'm one of them. He has the world's most popular podcast about Bitcoin. It's called what

Bitcoin did. But he's a fascinating guy. I mean, I'm interested

in how he earned millions of dollars in crypto and then lost millions of dollars in crypto, and we get

into that. But I'm more than that interested in his outlook on the world, the lessons that he's learned

from the battle scars that he's earned, and his place, I suppose, in the media landscape,

a similar sort of no man's land that I perhaps find myself in. I won't preface this too much.
