Hi, besties, and welcome back to the Sad to Savage podcast. Today's episode, I feel like I always say this. Today's

0:05.9

episode, it's going to be crazy, but we have a lot to talk about. Everything's going to tie in together,

0:10.8

but there's a few topics. Now, I titled this episode, How I Became the Person I was Enviing,

0:16.1

because I want to talk about how I got to where I am now from kind of that perspective. In this episode,

0:22.6

we're also going to talk through unlocking your new season. And I'm also going to make you guys

0:26.4

do a good amount of homework. Sorry about that in advance. That will make sense in a little. Also,

0:29.6

I want to quickly talk about the fact that the Sad to Savage podcast is officially one year old,

0:34.9

and it's hit over two million downloads, which I just think is insane. I started this

0:39.9

podcast, August 1st, 2022 with zero idea what I was doing, zero expectations. I really was clueless

0:47.3

now looking back. I had taken a class on how to start a podcast and was like, oh, how hard

0:52.5

could this could be. I greatly underestimated it.

0:55.1

But something else I underestimated, or I guess I didn't realize, was how, I guess just how

1:00.0

beautiful having a podcast would be and how much I could connect to you guys and actually

1:05.6

get to like talk in long form and teach. And this has been the most incredible experience.

1:12.3

I am so grateful for all of you. I love you so much. And I love that we've been doing this together.

1:16.8

Even if you just got, you just learn about my podcast or you've been here from the beginning.

1:20.0

I really am so, so incredibly grateful that you're here. And I love this. Now, I'm kind of to shift

1:27.2

to like, not a sad or not a sadder note, but I'm going to be

1:30.0

stopping the podcast and taking not necessarily a break, but having about a one month break

1:36.0

and then coming back with season two. The main reason for kind of pausing for a second and

1:43.1

coming up with a new season is I'm doing a series

1:46.1

that's going to kick off season two. But I also, I kind of want to hear all of your guys' thoughts

...
