0:00.0	Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning with the Masters where we devote
0:15.0	ourselves to the Lord daily with you. Good morning, you guys. Yes, good morning. We are
0:19.6	picking up with a quick one day devotional titled patient endurance and we wanted to
0:25.3	choose this one because it talks about Emmanuel, which is God with us. And as we gear up for
0:31.1	our Easter devotional, we want to remember that God was with us before he went to the cross
0:37.1	and then rose again. And so we're super excited about it. The scripture is 1 Peter, chapter
0:43.1	4, verse 16, and it says this, however, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed,
0:50.9	but praise God that you bear that name. So good. The devotional says, when we become Christians,
0:58.6	we might be tempted to cling to a false belief that our lives will become problem-free. But the truth
1:06.1	is everyone experiences suffering. However, when you belong to Jesus, you don't go through painful
1:14.2	situations alone. And whatever hardships you face, it's not the end of your story. God sees us
1:22.4	on the best and worst days of our lives, but his love for us does not change. He understands our
1:30.8	deepest suffering because he experienced it himself when he became Emmanuel, God with us.
1:40.2	When we feel overwhelmed by our circumstances, God can show us how to find rest. When we give
1:47.0	our burdens to him, he can refresh our heavy hearts. God can handle our pain because he understands
1:55.6	our hardships. He is trustworthy and faithful. Even when our circumstances feel dark and hopeless,
2:03.2	we can trust that he will carry us through every situation. Suffering is a part of being human,
2:10.4	but we honor God by handing our hardships over to him and looking for the ways that he is at work
2:17.6	in our situations. So today, spend some time with God and talk to him about your hurts.
2:24.8	Ask him to come for you and tell him what you need in order to face your circumstances with
2:31.2	courage and strength. Yeah, I just want to echo that last paragraph when it says,
