As we talked about yesterday, Ohio voted in a special election on a ballot initiative

that the, let's just put it this way, that if you voted, no, you were probably pro-choice

and wanted to leave the state constitution as it was. And if you voted, yes,

you were probably pro-life and wanted to change the state constitution to make a ballot

referendum in November harder to become law involving abortion. And in the end,

the people who wanted to leave the constitutional referendum rules as they were,

pro-choice side one, by a landslide. And not only did they win by a landslide, but turnout

was insanely high. It looks like it was around 2.8 million, and to give you a context,

in the midterm election, meaning the November 2014 midterm election, which granted,

was a low turnout midterm election. But we're talking here about a Tuesday,

in August, which is not exactly a time you expect. High turnout. In 2014, turnout,

according to our friend Dave Wagle, was 3.1 million in Ohio, and yesterday, it was 2.8 million.
