All right. Let's get started. So when I started my online business back in 2012, my wife, Jocelyn and I, we were trying to build a business together. But we had a problem. We had no time. We were working full-time jobs. We were both school teachers. We were working up at, you know, five o'clock in the morning,

being at the school by six or seven, and then stay until five or seven every single day.

I was a football coach, so I had football practice and weight room stuff year round. We had two small children, 18 months and three years old. That's a handful of guys. They cannot take care

of themselves at that, when they're

that age. And we didn't have the time to do anything. And when we discovered online business,

when we figured out that you could build something for yourself, we really, really wanted

to do that. But unfortunately, we were broke too. We'll talk about that in another video.

We had no time to actually put in the work.

1:27.4

We didn't even think we had an hour a day to spare to build a website or grow an email list or even record podcasts or do anything that we needed to do on social media to actually start building, grow an online business. And then one day,

Jocelyn said something to me that I will never, ever forget. This blew my ever love and

mind. She looked over and we were watching TV and I think President Obama was on the screen or

1:39.4

something. And we were watching the news or we were watching a channel. And then like in the next

1:43.3

story, they did something about like Beyonce or Oprah or somebody. I can't remember exactly who it was. I think it was, I pretty sure it was President Obama and Beyonce. And, you know, this isn't about those people, right? It's just that's who was on the thing. These were Uber successful people and there were stories about them on the TV. Jocelyn looked over at me and said, you know what I just realized? And I look back at her, and I said,

2:04.3

what did you just realize? And Jocelyn said, everyone has the same amount of hours in a week. I said, what do you mean? She said, well, President Obama, he's the president. He's got way more going on than we ever could. He has 168 hours in the week. Beyonce, she's accomplishing so much and she has 168 hours in the week. And then she looked at me and said, what in the world are we doing with our 168 hours that we're not achieving the things that we want to achieve, that we're not going after

2:34.6

the things that we want to accomplish. Maybe it's not that we don't have time. Maybe it's not,
