All right, Brian, to take us home here on part three of the Irish Breakdown podcast brought to you by Fanduil. We are going to talk about the linebacker room and how good we think that they can be. Part one of today show, we just gave an overview of the room. We talked about new linebacker coach, Brian John Marie. Second part, we just broke down the pieces of that room. We talked Drake and Kingston

and Jaden Osbury, Jalen Sneed, Madden Framo, and then the host of other talented players

waiting in the wings. Now we're going to have a discussion of just how good we think this unit can

be. And we've talked a little bit about it throughout this show so far, but you and I are both

under the assumption that we expect this to be a big year from this group.

But the question still remains is how good is that going to be?

I, for one, am excited to watch it unfold as the regular season goes on into the postseason.

But it is still a question.

Talent's there.

The experience is there.

You have a new linebacker coach.

How do we see this playing out for this group?

You know, Trevor, I think in a lot of ways, the last couple of seasons,

we felt that Notre Dame was one of the better linebacker units in the country.

Like, they're a top

10 to 12 unit at worse. No stars, just a lot of really good football players. You know,

there's no Arville Reese. There's no this guy. There's no that guy. They're just, they're just good

units. And I feel like going into 2026, it's time for this unit to say, okay, yes, you've got depth.

Yes, you've got talent.

You know, these things are all great.

But you know what?

It is time for you to become that elite group.
