Today we're going to talk about

something that affects more than 264 million people around the world, and that is depression.

And I will start off by saying I am one of those 264 million people. A lot of times people hear

the word depression and just think it means that somebody's sad a lot or that they're weak.

So I'd like us to start off by talking about what depression really is and maybe what it isn't.

So I am also somebody who has had more than one bout of depression in my life.

And I think what struck me when I went through it

is how physiological it is. I don't think you realize how it's not really an emotional,

just feeling blue thing. It's, it was just this whole body experience for me. And so there are a number of depression symptoms, such as those feelings
