Hey everyone. Welcome back to another episode of Real Talk with Rachel Autry, where I help you

delight in life and find joy right where you are.

I told our friend that's joining us today.

I was like, guys, you'll never believe what happened to my camera right before we went live.

It literally started smoking and catching on fire.

So if that tells you exactly how incredible and impactful, I expect, no pressure, Amber, for this conversation to be, it's that. I'm like, okay, there's something about this that the enemy is so not stoked about. And so he's about to set it ablaze, but we are too. Welcome to the show, Amber Smith. I'm so excited to have you. Thank you. I'm so happy to be here. If there's anything

that's real talk, it's your camera catching on fire. It's real. Honestly. I really am about

excellence and quality. But when those things happen, you just lean in. And you're like,

curious, God, what are you up to?

You know? Yeah, because I'm sure the enemy wanted you to be like, no, I got to cancel this and do it another day. Never. Like, nope, we're pushing on. No. No, no, no, no, no. Yeah. I'm like, and the only person that's going to be sad about it is my network. It's not like I would just have random half quality episodes if I could. But anyways, I'm so glad you're here.

And you said something when I told you about the story about the camera. I was like, I have to

know more about that for a second. You said, if I could tell you how many times fire had to do with parts

of my story. Yeah. I was like, wait, I really want to ask her, but I'm

going to wait until we record. What do you mean by that? It's so interesting. I just feel like fire

has been all throughout, I mean, one time, it was the Fourth of July. My husband was out of town,

and I was doing fireworks with the kids, just little fun little fireworks. And we'll never do it again by myself now. Okay. He was gone. And we lit off, we let off fireworks where we were finished. And we're like, okay, we're going to go to bed. And my daughter said, can we please do one more? Just one more, mommy, please do one more. So I shot off one more. Our field starts catching on fire. Like one little park flew. I'm by myself.

I'm like, oh my gosh. So I run, grab the water hose, yank it over. It doesn't reach. So I'm like, I'm like, oh my gosh, but my field is about to catch fire. My husband's gone. My neighbor is, their house is going to burn. I ran and filled up this big tub of water and just dumped it and kept stomping on it. So I got it out, thankfully.

Another story is we built a barn.

We just built a barn for guests, mother-in-law type stuff. And Granger was really, really happy with the barn. And it started to kind of maybe develop a sense of pride in him. Like, this is awesome. I'm so glad, you know, we're able to do this. And one morning, one morning, he was going to go work on his radio show upstairs. And he said, he just thought, I'm going to go check out the barn and see what they've done. He smells this tiny little bit of smoke. And he was like, that's weird. That smells like a cigarette. And just so happens, he walked in and it was, the barn was was completely engulfed in black smoke, he said there was two little dots. It looked like the enemies, like eyes.
