I'm Keith Simon. One of my good friends loves bullet points. He

loves to get an email or a letter or even a Bible study that's just made up of

short bullet points because he says it's easier for him to comprehend.

Well in some sense that's how Hebrews 13 reads.

It reads like a bunch of bullet points which are implications for how we should live in light of all we've learned from the book of Hebrews.

One of the things that's clear is that what we think about God has everything to do with our

relationships with each other and the world.

I mean that logic is built into the structure of the Ten Commandments.

The First Four Commandments are about our relationship with God and the next six are a relationship with other people.

The vertical shapes the horizontal. Love God, love your neighbor. So the question that Chapter 13 begins to answer is this, given the supremacy of Jesus, which we've seen in

the book of Hebrews, how do we treat people in our life?

How does the supremacy of Jesus work itself out inside the church.

So the first bullet point is keep on loving one another

as brothers and sisters.

The author of Hebrews is telling us

that we as Christians are part of one family.
