A lot of times people ask, how do I pray?

We have a lot of videos about how to pray, like what to do in your pray, to not be distracted

or not to be discouraged by the fact that you're distracted or have dryness and prayer

that purges a battle.

All these things about prayer, but still people ask and it's a great question, how do I

do it?

How do I pray with a Bible?

Great question, camper.

We talked about this a little bit.

We did this little silent retreat on the interwebs over Palm Sunday weekend.

One of the things that I wanted to share with people was how to pray for the scriptures

in a way that's called lexio de vina, the holy reading, the divine reading.

In lexio de vina, we can get bogged down in these four steps.

Here's the four steps of lexio de vina.

First is lexio, which means read.

Not only we bogged down in the steps, we sometimes get bogged down in the latin of the whole

thing.

So lexio means read.

Basically, you pick a scripture and you turn to it and you read a short snippet of

that scripture.

You just simply read it.
