You know, I want to circle back to the conversation that we had yesterday when you and

Katie were telling us what's going on with J Cole and Drake and Kendrick Lamar

something really, really interesting happened off the air when, before we started talking about this on the air.

And it's something that I knew, and I have preached on the air before and yet I got caught up in the algorithm

of the internet right so check this out you guys I'm so upset at myself for falling into this. So Mo and Katie brought up in one of our

meetings a couple of days ago that within the rap community that this story between J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and Drake was the only thing anybody was

talking about in the community for four days.

Absolutely.

And that's kind of this beef that's going on and it has to

circle around Jay Cole's apology and where does an apology fit in when it comes

to rep?

Absolutely not.

But within the community and the history of rap, this is how it's always been done.

And Jay Cole brought an apology to the table where it's mostly like wrestling. It's like

W. W. W. W. E. So people were really torn about that and it's been a very big

story. So Mo sent me that story via email and said, hey, this might be something that we want to talk about.

And I do a lot of homework every single day after the show trying to figure out we all do trying to

figure out how we're gonna be S our way through five hours every single day right and I

didn't see the story and maybe I didn't read the email with as with my ears open like this is a really big story bird

We need to talk about it. So it never made it on the show and I realize as we were all talking about it post meeting in an HR meeting actually that we had planned

We do these once a year well just to clarify Mo didn't call us to HR
