I'm here with my husband Jason. We have three children, two boys who are 13 and 10 and a daughter who is seven and our questions say for you centers around our seven year old daughter.

We basically want to know what we can do or what's most important for us to do to prepare her to be a strong confident woman who respects herself.

To mainly avoid kind of the pitfalls of maybe teen pregnancy or abusive relationships that we've seen happen to other members of our family.

Really? Your mother, his mother, your sister, his sister, tell me who actually it's his sister, some of my cousins.

So his sister had her first child at 16 and then she had another one at eight 20.

Okay, well, let's go back for the first one that she was 16. What was going on in her home? What was going on in her home?

I mean, I grew up with the stay at home mom.

Please, I appreciate everybody's stories, but not so much when they're not what I asked this girl got pregnant at 16. What was going on in her family at about that time.

Yeah, the biggest change in my household at that time was that my mom had an unexpected pregnancy and I have a brother who is 16 years my junior and my sister's a year and a half younger than I am.

Did she have it with your dad?

Yeah, yeah, it was all three kids were seeing two parents.

Okay. And how do you think that might relate or maybe there are some other things?

How do you think that might relate to her starting a fool around with boys?

Yeah, I think there was a she was the youngest for such a long time. I think maybe there was some attention it felt lost in that and also there was a lot of distractions that allowed her to be less monitored at that time.

So I would think those are the two primary factors.
