You're going to see. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Hello dear friends, great Kockel, your host for Stander Reason today and we're doing an open mic session for this hour and we've got some very interesting calls coming up that I'm looking forward to responding to and I mean we might as well just jump into it here

0:47.8

here is a question that's coming up by a girl name a woman girl named Summer I haven't heard her voice so I have no sense

0:56.3

of her age but it has to do with connecting with God in an authentic way.

1:04.4

And this is especially a concern if

1:08.1

hearing the voice of God

1:10.5

is not the biblically sound way of connecting with God,

1:15.0

though that's the way a lot of people think of it.

1:17.0

So we'll cover a couple of different aspects there

1:20.0

and from summer.

1:21.6

Do we have summer queued up here? Yeah, let's hear from Summer.

1:51.3

scripture. My question today is how would you or what kind of advice

1:58.5

would you give to someone who is transitioning from a more charismatic Pentecostal background who does believe in all of these

2:10.1

different subjective ways that God speaks to the more biblical belief.

2:17.8

Because for example, myself, I do struggle to still really find grounding in the fact that God does not whisper and he does not try to give me hints because a lot of people in my community do believe

2:34.8

that he does and also I have found myself struggling in prayer feeling like I

2:41.2

can't connect to God because I obviously do not want to participate in

2:46.8

listening prayer anymore. And so I would just like to have some advice if possible on how I can more easily transition and live and connect with God in a way that is biblically sound. Thank you so much.

3:07.0

Well Summer I really appreciate the question and it's actually I put it first here in this hour because I have a lot to say about this

3:16.6

and I want to have the freedom not squeezed by time constraints. I won't take the whole

3:21.8

hour on it of course but there's a lot going on here. The Does God Whisper series, I did a number of years ago, I think we have, it's not only online in three segments of solid ground
