Um.

Oh, I'm in a real pickle, and I could use some help. You see, I was just an ordinary pair of

khaki pants until yesterday, when I was hit with a magical spell that brought me to life.

And for the last 24 hours, I've been a talking, walking, thinking pair of pants.

But that's not my problem.

My problem started when I accidentally wandered into a laboratory earlier today.

All these smarty human types were talking about making something fly. And I said,

Hey, I know all about fly things. After all, my mouth is literally a zippered fly. These humans got

really excited and started showing me lots of drawings and blueprints. Well, it turns out they were talking about making a rocket fly,

not the fly of a pair of pants. Yada, yada, yada. Next thing I know, I'm the CEO of a major

rocket company, and they need me to design a new rocket to launch next week. I'm having major imposter syndrome.

I mean, I'm just a sentient pair of khakis.

I have no idea what I'm doing.

I'm thinking of appointing my pal Jacob to be the co-CEO since at least he knows how to ask the right questions.

and my question is, how do rocket ships fly? Unlike airplanes, so airplanes need atmosphere to,

you know, fly and to have a source of oxygen for other engines.

Rockets are nothing like that.

Rockets are trying to, if they're coming from Earth, get out of the atmosphere as fast as possible.

So rockets are launched vertically.
