| 1:42.1 | That's a great question. Okay, so Frigian scale, the elusive Phrygian scale. |
| 1:47.3 | First of all, let's kind of just hear the sound of this scale for a second. |

| 1:55.1 | It just has this kind of, I don't know, has like a sound to it, right? |
| 1:59.6 | There's like a minor seventh chord. So the Phrygian is associated with the minor seventh chord, which we'll talk about in a second here. And, you know, when we're talking about scales and improvising for jazz, right? I mean, it is helpful, right, to have what I call these pitch collections available to us. That's the way I think of scales. |
