It's a simple question, but the answer I think is a little more, well, it's not quite as simple, a little more nuanced, but I'll still try to answer it.

The tension that I feel that I'm constantly aware of is this tension of how hard it is to get started,

it is. It is pretty simple. There's kind of this disconnect of how hard can it be to walk as a fitness activity?

Well, in one level it's not hard at all. Just open the door and walk.

But it's that consistency, building that habit, doing it day after day, week after week, month after month.
