0:22.8	start building wealth. I would love to get into real estate investing, but I have no
0:28.3	experience with real estate investing. I'm wondering if it would make more sense for me at this point,
0:32.9	rather than directly investing in real estate, to invest some high dividend REITs that would be paying
0:37.9	like 10, 11% dividends, or to get deeper into actual physical real estate.
0:44.8	Either one's fine. I mean, the REITs in the old days underperformed growth stock mutual funds

0:59.4	And like you said, 10, 11, 12% is not unusual on a REIT, especially in a market where real estate's doing what it's doing.
1:01.0	REIT, for those of you don't know, is real estate investment trust.
1:04.5	It's basically a mutual fund for real estate is how it functions.
1:08.2	And so, and that way you can put in, you know, a few thousand dollars versus
1:13.2	needing 50 or a hundred thousand dollars to be in the real estate world. So what do you make?
1:20.8	I make about $5.50 a year. Whoa! What do you do for a living?
