Absolutely. I like to say my pain became my purpose. You know, I knew that I had something special

already before this had even happened to me. I knew that the approach that I take, because I'm an

anthropologist and not a lot of people in this space, study and have the ability to look around

the world and see what makes people the happiest and

the healthiest around the world, I already knew I had something special, but not until I went

through that pain, did I see that that was going to be my purpose and that I needed, if I could

help even one person avoid the darkness or to get out of that darkness,

that that was going to mean everything to me.

At a recent accelerator retreat that we had here in San Diego earlier this year, Leah had a

hot seat.

And during that hot seat, we witnessed a total mindset shift in her business.

Now, if you're not familiar with the term hot seat, this is where somebody gets up in front

of the group, you know, poses a problem or question that they have that they would like

the groups help on.

And then we as the group offer ideas and feedback and insight. And we just help

that person as a group. And as Leah puts it, she was drowning in information. She came up to

the front of the room, feeling super confused and out of alignment with connecting the dots

of her target audience, their pain points, and also how she's specifically helping them through her online program.

And you could tell that it felt super heavy to her.

And then by the time that she finished her hot seat, she was beaming.
