My op-ed today published over at HartmanReport.com is titled, we've seen enough people murdered by

American police. It's way past time for genuine reform.

Start out by talking about the horrors of this murder of Tyree Nichols, the latest victim of American

police. As his stepfather Rodney Wells told CNN, quote, when I saw the police officer, you know,

they have this little stick, this metal thing that they pull out. I saw them pull that out and start

beating my son with it. And I saw officers hitting on him. I saw officers kicking him. One officer

kicked him like he was kicking a football a couple of times. By the way, I would add Tyree Nichols,

weighs about 150 pounds. Every single one of these five cops weighs over 203 of them were high

school football players. Okay, back to his stepfather. But the most telling thing about the video to me

was the fact that it was maybe 10 officers on the scene and nobody tried to stop it or even after

they beat him and they propped him up against the car, no one rendered aid to him whatsoever. They

walked around smoking cigarettes like it was all calm and, you know, bragging about what happened.

He was sitting there and then he slumped over and an officer walked over to him and said,

sit back up, mother of her, you know, while he's handcuffed. So he had to, you know, they propping
