All right, welcome, everybody. This is Derek Bonner, joined once again by Rich Hoffman on the Sixers Beat, a part of the Athletics Podcast Network.

How you doing, Rich?

I'm okay, man.

So the Sixers are a little less okay, having lost three in a row, three short-handed games in a row.

But they are now tied with the Brooklyn Nets,

which again, because they have the tiebreaker, there are effectively a game up. But maybe more concerning, or at least more of a change in the status quo, is there now only 2.5 games

up on the Milwaukee Bucks with one very important game on Saturday to play, a game they are

likely without, not officially without, but likely without Ben Simmons, who has missed the past

three games with an illness, a non-COVID related illness. So I guess we'll just take sort of like

a step back because each of these games that they have lost here recently,

you know, you had the one against Milwaukee, which turned out to be a seven point loss, wasn't

anywhere near that. They got their doors blown off. You had then two pretty good games against

pretty healthy teams in the Golden State Warriors, which are not a good team, but who have

Seth Curry, I've been doing that more lately,

who has Steph Curry, who is just on another planet right now, and the Phoenix Suns, who are

a really good team and are playing really good basketball.

I think they've won, like, 14 or 16 or something of that.
