So today I'm speaking with Robert O'Brien, the former White House National Security Advisor and chairman of American Global Strategies, a firm that provides consulting services to tech companies. And he wrote an excellent piece, which I shared with lots of friends and family last week, and it was published in the Wall Street Journal.

The piece is titled, Breaking Up Tech is a gift to China. And he talks about that now with me for the untold story.

Great. Thanks, Martha. Happy New Year. Happy New Year to you, too. So, you know, there's sort of two

parts to this op-ed as I see it. And part of it is the title that Breaking Up Tech, which, of course,

there's a lot of bipartisan support for or clamping down on them in one way or another.

But the title of this is that breaking up tech is a gift to China. And I want to kind of get to that

second, because there are a few things in this op-ed that really jump out at the reader. So I want to

start with the advances that China is making, with their own technology,

that really stunned me. And one of them is that the University of Science and Technology of China

claims that they have built the world's fastest programmable quantum computer,

and that China has a computer, they they claim that is 10 million times faster

than the closest competitor. So do you believe, based on your background, that that is true?
