H5N1. I've gotten a lot of questions from people about this. Do we have to worry about it?

How big of a deal is it? Is this mysterious disease X that we've been warned about?

Let's start here with your update for May 3rd, 2024. Now, this map shows where

the outbreaks have been detected so far in the red states. That's where H5N1 has been detected.

I'm going to break down what H5N1 is so that you understand it as well as you need to. Because
