0:00.0	Good morning, my friends. Good afternoon, good evening, whatever time of day, it is for you right now.
0:10.0	It is time for you to get your mind aligned with the truth of God.
0:13.2	At least, I hope that's what you're ready to do, because that's what this program, this
0:18.3	podcast, The Morning Mindset, is recorded in order to help you accomplish.
0:23.7	We are serious about our faith in Jesus Christ.
0:27.1	We want our lives to reflect Him.
0:29.6	We want our behavior to come online with what His Holy Spirit is producing in us and through us.
0:35.8	And that's why we take it seriously every day to get our minds aligned with his truth.
0:42.3	What does that mean practically? Well it means we are trying to
0:45.4	think the way he thinks about ourselves, about life, about him, about other people
0:52.0	in the world and today we are focusing in on a phrase that will
0:56.6	help us keep our minds aligned with his spirits' leadership in our lives.
1:02.1	Let's look at Galatians chapter 5 verse number 25.
1:07.0	The apostle Paul has just told us what it looks like when the Holy Spirit is doing his work in our lives.
1:16.0	He's producing all kinds of wonderful qualities and characteristics through us,
1:21.5	and he is suppressing and killing a big long list that Paul's provided in the previous
1:27.6	verses of bad behaviors and wrong desires and they're not wrong because they're listed in some rule of law or some list of
1:37.8	characteristics that are the bad ones. These things are wrong because they are
1:42.1	opposed to the character of the holy God who we serve and who now lives in us by his Holy Spirit.
1:50.0	And so Paul says in verse 25, if we live by the spirit, now that's a big qualifier, my friends, think about that for a moment.
2:00.0	Paul is saying, if indeed the spirit of God lives in you, which not only you claim he does if you are a follower of Christ,
2:11.0	but in reality he does live in you.
