A long time ago, I had this goal of learning French, a foreign language,

because in a year or so, I had planned a trip to Paris, wanted to see the city,

So, what did I do?

Well, I think CDs were out.

But I bought Pimsler, French 1, 2, and 3.

And for a year and a half, pretty much every free moment I was listening

to it, practicing it, trying it. And after a year and a half, I went through all of them at least

three or four times. I felt I was pretty good. I could rent French movies and, with subtitles, be able to understand what was going on.
