our show. Thanks, Richard. It's great to be with you today. So you used to work

at the White House, and you've seen presidential leadership up close. So tell us about your experience.

Yeah, I had a great privilege of serving the domestic policy council at the White House. So for me,

as a student of American history, I did a PhD in this, to have the opportunity to work

there was one of the coolest experiences that one could have in this field. So for me, it was,

it was every day one of those pinched yourselves moments where you walk through and get a sense

of history here or there. Everything was kind of put through that lens. And again, what an amazing experience.

When were you there? I was there at the end of the Bush administration and then went over to

the State Department after that. So I guess that was about 2007, 2008, 2007. Yeah. Oh, great. Okay.
