Today's 10 minute walk is helping both of us remain fitness consistent.

It is a cloudy day in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Temperatures probably normal for this time of year for winter.

So it's chilly. We occasionally will have bone chilling cold weather,

And I think that having a walking partner, a walking buddy, whatever term you want to use,

is for some a huge help and a huge motivation.

It provides accountability. I said I'm going to do this. I said I'm going to do this every day or consistently, you know, whatever the regularity is. And having a walking buddy is someone who's going to hold you to that commitment as you are holding them to their commitment. And that

accountability for so many people is more important than how you feel for the motivation that

sometimes we rely on. And when we don't feel motivated, it's easy to push the pause button to look for a reason why,

today's not the best day for a walk.

But when you have somebody that you've made a commitment to walk with, in Margaret's case, in the evening for about 40 minutes, they're there.
