Everyone's got a reason why they eat in a certain way. And some people, it's for their energy levels.

0:05.9

Sometimes it's for their immune system. Sometimes it's for their gut health. Sometimes it's for their

weight. Just sometimes it's for the joy of eating with their family and friends. I think fennel is one of

0:15.9

the best digestives and it's very good for things like gas and wind and bloating. You know,

0:21.8

Rosemary's always been seen for things like headache and stress. I think potatoes taste

0:26.2

incredible in duck or goose fat and actually they are better for you. I think overall you get

0:32.4

1:26.8

and think, wonder what those tastes like. Maybe I'll just try them out to make sure they're okay.

1:31.1

Or perhaps you go to the other extreme and make even more of a point of keeping lots of healthy

1:35.6

food on your plate and getting out for even more long walks in your downtime. So I think it's

1:41.1

all about living life in balance. You'll have heard me say before. It's the 80-20 rule,

1:45.7

isn't it? 80% of the time, we do pretty well and we're mindful about what we put on the end of

1:49.7

our fork and all of that. And then 20% of the time, well, let's just cut ourselves some slack. But

1:54.9

it's very easy, isn't it? I think at this time of year for the 80-20 to become, well, 20-80. So whatever you're inclined to do, the most

2:03.6

important thing is that you are in a calm and joyful mood and have the energy to enjoy all

2:09.6

the festivities. So from that point of view, is it still important to think about what we're
