We hope you enjoy the message. Howdy? Man, it is a dream come true to be with you men this evening it truly is i thank god for this moment i

thank god that you would steward uh this evening in this way that you would gather like this that

you're not in the bar or the club or at some uh frat party but that you would gather in a church and

we would gather around his word talking to the creator of the heavens and the earth if If we know each other, if you know anything about my story, I haven't always been walking

with Jesus. And so I trusted Christ after college. In college for me looked like lots of rebellion.

Please don't hear my story and think, okay, well, then I can follow suit because I want you to know

that I have lots and lots of regrets from those years that I spent in college,

things that I can't undo, things I can't unsee, things that I have to just cling to the grace of Christ

every day. And so I would not encourage you to go the same path that I did. But after college,

still not walking with Jesus, I was dating this girl.

And I just kind of was thinking, you know what?

I don't know that we're going to break up.

And, you know, I assume that one day we're going to get married.

And so that means that I have to do the most illogical thing that any man can possibly do.

And that's to spend a lot of money on a rock. And so I'm looking for a rock.

And so I got to buy an engagement ring. That's what's kind of, I'm thinking about. And so I go

where everybody goes to get an engagement ring. I go to eBay. And I'm on eBay and I'm

looking through these and I'm studying up on engagement

rings and I see this one and it has an appraised value.
