Welcome to this episode of Making the Argument brought to you by Ground News. And we're going to get to them just a little bit later in this episode. It was a little over five years ago that we saw everything from the BLM riots to COVID, to all of the policies and implementations and vaccines and cancellations and government intervention in social media. All of these things

took place in a relatively short period of time. And there's no question that it changed things

about the United States. In fact, you could argue that it broke some things about the United

States. And what we're going to do today is we're actually going to go through and we're going

to talk about some of the things that changed during that period of time and the response that we're now seeing to it.

I mean, for instance, I don't think many of us, you know, if you were sitting there in 2020

watching cities burn, I don't think many of us thought that just a mere five years later,

the Supreme Court would be issuing a whole host of decisions in favor of things like

getting rid of national level injunctions that lower federal district courts. We wanted

have seen, you know, Supreme Court decisions saying that, no, parents do have a right to opt their

children out of gender theory programs within their public school system. I don't think anybody had on their

bingo card alligator alcatraz in Mexico with respect to deporting illegal immigrants. But here

we are. There was this massive influx of policies and procedures and government interventions in 2020. And now we're seeing a backlash

and response to it. And the big question is, what have we learned? What have we learned over

these five years along the categories of family, of economics, of politics, of culture?

What have we learned? And where do we see the country going in the future? All of that coming up on this episode of making the argument.
