Summary

The best Captains control the controllable. One of the most controllable factors in fishing is knot strength. We can practice our knots off the water and test them on a Force Tester or Scale to get accurate data on which knot consistently tests higher than another. This not only allows you to tie the strongest knots possible but also to have confidence in your abilities and know exactly how hard you can pull. On today’s episode I will test two popular knots for attaching braid to fluorocarbon without a bimini twist. The Slim Beauty vs the Double Uni. I think we should do a series of knot battles to determine the best and strongest knots. Text 1-305-930-7346 to give me your suggestions on which knots should battle each other to determine which is the strongest.
