Well, it's another huge big Monday game in the Big 12 conference. Let's get you a preview and a prediction. Houston on the road against Kansas in Allen Fieldhouse. Both these teams are coming off of losses. KU was shocked by Cincinnati at home on Saturday and Houston lost at home on Saturday to Arizona.

So you look at these two teams right now, and you're like, all right, something's got to give.

They're both coming off a loss.

They're both looking to bounce back with a huge win to stay in contention for a Big 12 championship

in the regular season.

What's going to happen here?

Well, I believe that when you look at this game, all signs point towards Kansas,

but it doesn't mean that's my prediction and it doesn't mean that KU's guaranteed to win

the game.

Here's the deal, though.

When you look at something having to give,

Houston has not lost three straight games since 2017. KU is 40 and O in Allen Fieldhouse on

Big Monday under Bill Self. We talked about this stat two weeks ago when they played Arizona.

KU has not lost back-to-back games inside of

Allen Fieldhouse since the 88, 89 season, 37 years ago. And then you go, KU is 138 and 24

following a loss in the Bill South era.

What's going to give?

Well, I do believe that KU was caught looking ahead coming out of that Cincinnati game.

Not a knock on Cincinnati, not taking anything away from Cincinnati, but I do feel like in part, this team was taking Cincinnati for granted looking ahead to

Big Monday.

And there's a lot of overreaction against Kansas as a result of that.
