So the first team I'm buying this week and how can you not the Arizona Wildcats?

No co-opete.

This team is reeling after how last week went for Arizona.

And now you come back. You got a team that's right now playing some of the best basketball in the country without its star freshman in sole possession of

first place in the Big 12. They lose last week to Kansas to Texas Tech. They lose co-opete in the process.

What do they do? They come back. They get a couple of top 25 wins.

One at home against BYU. The next one on the road against number two Houston on Saturday, 73 to 66.

They're playing a long game with Pete on this leg injury, and they still had the best week in the Big 12 to now take over the top spot in the conference

and per Joe Lenardi's latest bracketology, they have got a number one seed in the NCAA tournament

in the West region. You could not have asked for a better week if you were the Arizona Wildcats and Tommy

Lloyd's squad. And you just have to like what this team is doing and where it's at. They're keeping

to their game. They're not a great three-point shooting team. We know that. We understand that

about them. And if there is something that is an Achilles heel of this team,

it's that, but they don't need that to win. The question was, could they do it without

co-opete? And at least for a couple of games here, they've proven they can. And guess what?

When you go on the road and you beat Houston without one of your star players,

there's not much more you can do to prove that you're going to be okay than doing what they did on Saturday.
