| 0:07.0 | Today we're going to get started with your questions on a training Thursday and again I'm Steve Gruball |
| 0:15.4 | Board certified natopathic doctor excited to be here with you here today and what I want to do is I want to go through your questions |
| 0:24.3 | Just to recap our last episode on our training Thursday is we went through something called |
| 0:27.6 | escalating density training principles so EDT and when use these principles, you can actually get better results in less time, |
| 0:36.4 | meaning you can take a 60 minute workout, condense it to 30 minutes, |
| 0:40.3 | to 40 minutes, and not only would I say get the same amount of results I would |
| 0:44.3 | actually say you'd get better results from doing that. It was a short episode I |

| 1:25.2 | So whenever you're loading up a joint it's bad and that's why we don't do a lot of single joint |
| 1:29.3 | exercise like we don't do a lot of leg extensions and we don't do a lot of leg curls and the reason we don't do that is because that |
| 1:35.3 | places stress on your knee joint so what we do are the big compound exercises |
| 1:39.8 | and that means two joints not just the knee joint it means working the knee |
| 1:44.0 | working the knee, but also in conjunction with your ankle and hip, |
| 1:46.3 | typically for a leg exercise, like a lunge, a squat, a deadlift, |
| 1:49.7 | or a step-up. |
| 1:51.0 | Those are your four main lifts for your legs and then you can get creative |
