season one, episode nine, the Green Council. And I've been kind of repeating myself in the

intros to these last few episodes. I've just been saying this is the best one yet, or this is

the most emotional one yet. So I'll change it up a little bit this week. I did not like this one

quite as much as the last few, mostly because I

think the, uh, the egg-on fetch quest in the middle took up too much of the episode. And there were also

some moments that felt, I don't know, like obvious or exaggerated in a way that reminded me of

some of Game of Thrones as low points. Overall, though, still great stuff.

It really, it did its job, which was to ramp up the scope, ramp up the scale.

It made you feel the acceleration of events beyond anyone's control.

It's that sense there is no turning back now.

And you definitely, if you haven't felt it by the end, you definitely feel it at the end.

I agree. I don't think this was as strong as the previous two episodes, though I think I am a little

higher on this one than most.

And I think that's because I did specifically like the Agon Fetch Quest as something

that appeals to my specific sensibilities.

But we can get there.

And perhaps me and Emmett can fight about something finally. And good, it's been getting a little too chummy around here for my taste.
