Radio Westeros, House of the Dragon, season one, Episode 10, The Black Queen. Hello and welcome to Radio Westerros. I'm Yoke Boy and it's great to be here to talk about

the 10th and final episode of the season for House of the Dragon called the Black Queen. Today we'll be reacting to and

evaluating this episode as well as making plenty of book comparisons because we

are fans of the book and it's quite a book-centric episode. We will avoid

Spoiling the future plot of House of the Dragon, but we do have a spoiler section at the end and I'll give you a giant heads up for that. So whatever your

song of ice and fire game of thrones background I think we have a lot to offer tonight.

In this episode there was no significant time jump Rainies has left the mainland of Westaros on his on a way to Dragonstone.

Last week the episode focused on the Green faction and theironerra considers

agon in front of the crowds of King's Landing.

Here we saw the Black faction react to that news, and Renera considers her response to what she views as a good old usurping.

Showrunner Ryan Condell called this the sister episode to the last one and the only

greens we see are Otto and Amund given this was the season finale the writers

wanted to go out with a bang and towards the end of the episode was a really wonderful

wonderfully sequenced dragon chase scene that kicked off the conflict of the Dance of the Dragons in style. It's been a great season I think and a lot of us feel that the

show has exceeded our expectations so we can't wait to get into talking about this finale. So without further to do, let me introduce my radio
