As we await more news when it comes to the head coaching search,

Adam Schaefter just putting out a few minutes ago that former Raiders head coach and

former New York Giant himself, Antonio Pierce, will interview tonight and Friday for the

Giants head coaching job per sources. So I know that Antonio Pierce was a fan favorite. I know

that he had some modicum of success as an interim head coach with the Raiders.

However, if the giant...

That's right, but we should have been here a half hour ago.

But if Antonio Pierce gets this job, the giant fans, as much as they loved Antonio Pierce's tenure as a giant, would not be happy. Let's be honest about that. Now, Antonio Pierce is a defensive coordinator. We can work with John Orbaugh, then yeah, fine. But they're going to interview Antonio Pierce, and I think out of respect for him and his resume now and everything else, that's a smart thing to do. They like to do these two-day interviews, don't they? Yeah, they do, but I also think that it's important for Antonio. Take the interview. Keep learning. Everywhere you go, you just keep learning. I mean, and you just keep trying to meet new people. You keep your name out there. You stay in the mix. It's important. And the more, the more he gets, I guess the word is, I'm just trying to think of the word, the more experience he gets going through these things, the better he's going to get at it. And he's going to get another shot eventually. I don't think he's going to get this shot. I don't know

if John Harbaugh would hire him as his defense coordinator. I don't know. I don't know anything about

what John Harbaal is thinking about with his staff. I know that there was an argument or some

sort of disagreement with the owner about the offensive coordinator Todd Monkin down in Baltimore.

I don't know if that's who John will bring with him if he does come to the Giants.

That's another interesting aspect.
