Ryan, an ugly one, particularly for the offense over the weekend, and especially for Cal Raleigh.

We heard audio from Cal in the clubhouse after the game.

You wrote up a great column about it kind of trying to figure out what the issue is.

Would you say right now that it feels as though it is more injury-related or more mental?

I think it's more mental.

He says he's fine health-wise.

I'm sure he doesn't feel great.

I mean, I know that cows felt great since maybe the second or third day of spring training.

But I think it's mental. You look at it as a bats. You look at, and that's one thing I didn't, I was kind of frustrated with myself about is I didn't get into the under the hood numbers of like, his at bats, his plates for plate, or speeches for plate appearance, you know, get into the, um, chase rate or even some of the, those sorts

and numbers.

More, I don't know, I just, I didn't have, it takes a fair amount of time to look that up,

and I'm not very good at looking all that stuff up, but, you know, in talking with some

other people, it just, he's just kind of swinging about pitches. He's chasing a lot of pitches. There have been times where he's filed off, so I think some hitable pitches, you know, like most recently I thought, like, because of bats have been better, but he just missed a few pitches here and there. But for the most part, he just is having kind of bat at bats.bats. He's crying a little bit too hard to put up results.

And that's the worst mentality you can have.

And I think every player is a victim, falls victim to that.

You look and you don't have hits.

You know, we heard Rob Reff Snyder say, well, I have a batting average now to get a zero next to his name.
