Just a couple hours away before the Mariners final game against the Brewers.

This stretch, Brock, 17 in a row out of the All-Star break.

They had a stretch close to the All-Star break exactly like that.

It's got one day off and went right back to it.

And now 17 in a row, thoroughly important leading up to that trade deadline a week from tomorrow.

And you look at this team and we have kind of circled around everything that Jeff Passant told us and now in his big trade deadline article out there about why this is the year.

Kind of a lot of different reasons about needing the urgency to part with prospects, even though it's painful, even though it might be difficult with guys that you learn, you know about them.

So it's that familiarity that becomes difficult.

I want to maybe phrase it this way to see if we get a different answer or if it kind of solidifies some thinking.

When you look at this Mariners team right now, you've seen what they've done

against the Tigers. And right here, this example in front of you, this Brewer Series, they won

last night. Where would you put the Mariners among the best teams in baseball right now?

I think they're a top 10 team in baseball right now. know i think they're pretty close to that kind of

record wise they've kind of been in that spot through the power rankings of these 101 games

over the course of the year right as you looked at it maybe they've been as high as five six or seven
