We got some baseball tonight.

The Yankees are taking on the Washington Nationals,

a game you'll hear right here on WFN over at Yankee Stadium tonight

with Cam Schlittler on the mound against Brad Lord.

And then the Mets are taking on the Philadelphia Phillies, a three-game series that,

while still important, doesn't feel as important

as it could have felt if, let's say, the Mets were a game up or a game out. But instead, there's

seven games back, and they need to sweep the Phillies. If you're still dreaming of the National

League East, which I think most sane fans have realized it's not going to be the case. By the way,

I don't have my phone with me because I'm charging it

in the other room. Right after the Cinco, you need to do a favor for all of us. I want you to take

your phone. I want you to dial up one of our coworkers. Some know him as Sal Akata. And I want you

to place the phone right up to the microphone and ask him very simply, is the NL East over? I could do that. He's on vacation today. He wasn't around, but I believe this is an important day to ask him that question since he tweeted the NL East is over, but we haven't heard him say it. Now, I will do that if you do one thing for me. Possibly. All right, I haven't been on the

air in a week. You haven't either. Can you
